Emmanuel R. Goffi is an Artificial Intelligence Ethicist. He is Head of the Ethics, Management, Personal and Professional Project Department, and professor-researcher in ethics applied to AI at ISEP - Paris Institute of Digital Technology. He holds a PhD in Political Science from Sciences Po Paris. Dr Goffi is also an expert and ethics sherpa who has been working with companies and organizations in France and abroad, advising them on how to integrate ethics into their digital-related activities. He is regularly invited to deliver talks and lectures, and to contribute to expert meetings and boards around the world. He is also a research associate with organizations in Morocco, Brazil, Canada, and Iran, and a lecturer in several institutions in France, in Canada and in Germany, and he has written numerous pieces on ethics applied to artificial intelligence. His research focuses on the development of artificial intelligence systems and the ethical questions they raise.

Dr. Onder Turan received his BSc., MSc. and Ph.D in 1998, 2000 and 2007 respectively from Anadolu University. He became an Associate Professor of Anadolu University in 2013. Dr. Turan is an active teacher and researcher in sustainable energy, the environmental impact of industrial/aero systems, and energy technology. He has also carried out research on the linkages between propulsion, energy, exergy, thermodynamics, environmental impact, sustainability and ecology. His research interests include gas turbines, aircraft propulsion, aero-engines, optimization methods, energy, exergy, cogeneration systems, renewable energy and integrated energy systems. He has published more than 60 journal papers or conference papers in the above fields. He has served as a member of technical and scientific committee, panel session chair, reviewer and editor for numerous international conferences and prestigious scientific journals. He is currently work in Eskisehir Technical University as a full professor.

Received her Ph.D in image processing from Muroran Institute of Technology in Japan in 2004 where she specialized in computer vision and machine learning. Since then, she has focused on image processing and document processing in Canon Inc. From 2019, she joined Research Center of Kyocera Corporation as an Expert. Her current interests include deep learning and computer vision for objects detection, fraud detection, object recognition and object tracing. She serves as committee member for multiple international conferences

Dr. Hao Ying (应浩 in Chinese) is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Wayne State University, Michigan, USA. He published a single-author research monograph/advanced textbook, “Fuzzy Control and Modeling: Analytical Foundations and Applications” (IEEE Press, 2000, 342 pages; foreword by Professor Lotfi A. Zadeh), showcasing his extensive original research findings. Additionally, he coauthored the book “Introduction to Type-2 Fuzzy Logic Control: Theory and Applications” (IEEE Press and John Wiley & Sons, Inc., 2014). Dr. Ying's scholarly output includes over 130 peer-reviewed journal papers and more than 160 peer-reviewed conference papers. He holds a Google Scholar h-index 52, with over 12,000 total citations, positioning him within the top 25% of the 100,000 most-cited authors across all 22 scientific fields (176 subfields)*. He received the 2023 IEEE CIS Fuzzy Systems Pioneer Award, the highest honor from the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, with the citation “For fundamental contributions to model-free fuzzy control theory and its biomedical applications.”

Dr. Yeasin is a Professor and a Data Scientist. He is the recipient of National Science Foundation (NSF) Career Grant, Senior Member of the IEEE and Associate Editor of two peer reviewed Journals (BMC Bioinformatics and PRML). Collaborating with all stakeholders, I develop innovative solutions in assistive technology, biomedicine, cognitive engineering, and HCI. I specialize in designing systems using interpretable machine learning. For my work in understanding non-verbal communications and their applications, I received the National Science Foundation’s Faculty Early Career Award, given to less than 1% of applicants. I collaborated with 40+ people and invented the co-analysis of signals & sense for robust modeling non-verbal communications. I consider it my life goal to develop affordable technology solutions for people who are blind or visually impaired. I founded and led the Blind Ambition project, working with all stakeholders, we have created solutions that cost under $50. I prioritized working with users to understand their needs and create assistive technology solutions that require minimal cognitive effort. Some of my successful works: 1. Mentored 30+ Ph.D and MS students to be future leaders in their field of specialization. 2. Invented the co-analysis of signals & sense for robust modeling non-verbal communications and used them to develop a suite of affordable assistive solutions to empower people the blind and visually impaired. Solutions include VASS, Expression+, O-MAP, Emo-Assist and R-MAP. 3. Invented a novel data structure and multivariate methods to create network descriptions of cognitive events such as categorical perception, epileptic seizures, predicting risky behavior. 4. Created ARIANA to bridge the biomedical knowledge gap by scanning the medical literature to discover latent connections between disease, drug and risk factors. 5. A. Salazar (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in computer science engineering, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree and the M.S. degree in artificial intelligence and pattern recognition from the Universitat Politècnica de València, in 2011 and 2020, respectively.,He works with the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications, Universitat Politècnica de València. His research interests include statistical signal processing, machine learning, decision fusion, pattern recognition, and graph signal processing. The methods in which he has researched have been applied in several fields, such as brain signal dynamic modeling, material non-destructive testing, and credit card fraud detection.

Dayan LIU received his Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics from University of Lille 1, France, in 2011. From 2012 to 2013, he held postdoctoral positions in Arts et Métiers ParisTech, France and at KAUST in Saudi Arabia. Currently, Dr. Liu is Associate Professor in INSA Centre Val de Loire, where he belongs to Control Team in PRISME Laboratory. In January 2022, he earned the Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR). His research interests mainly focus on identification and estimation for fractional order systems. Dr. Liu has published about 100 papers in international journals and conferences, and has supervised 12 Ph.D. students (10 have defended). Moreover, he has participated in more than 10 Chinese, French and American research projects. He is a Technical Committee Member of CAA: Fractional Order Systems and Control and IFAC: 2.2 Linear Control Systems an Editorial Board Member of Fractal and Fractional, and a Guest Editor of 5 Special Issues.

Fairouz Kamareddine has been involved in a number of worldwide consultancy assignments, especially on education and research issues working for United Nations and the EU. Ms. Garima Jain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida, India. She completed her M.Tech. from Galgotias University, Greater Noida, in 2017. She is pursuing her P.hD. from Dayalbagh University on Resource Provisioning in Cloud and Edge Computing environment. Ms. Jain has a strong publication record, with research articles and book chapters published in reputable venues. Jiaxin Cai received his Ph.D. degree in Information and Computation Science from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2014. He also received his M.S. degree and B.Sc. degree in Bio-medical Engineering from Southern Medical University in 2011 and 2008 respectively. Currently, he is an associate professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Xiamen University of Technology. He has authored over 36 peer-reviewed papers at academic journals and conferences. His current research interests include machine learning, computer vision and bio-medical engineering.

Dr. Deborah Dahl is an expert on Conversational AI and related standards, with over 30 years of experience in natural language processing technology, including Large Language Models. She has previously worked on developing natural language systems for large corporations, startups, and government agencies, including NASA. She is also an expert on speech and language standards, with over 20 years of experience in standards work at the World Wide Web Consortium and the Linux Foundation AI and Data Foundation. Dr. Dahl has written many technical papers and four books, including Multimodal Interaction with W3C Standards: Toward Natural User Interfaces to Everything, published in 2016, and Natural Language Understanding with Python, published in 2023. She is also a frequent peer reviewer for conferences such as the Association for Computational Linguistics and the International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing. Dr. Dahl received her Ph.D. in linguistics in 1984 from the University of Minnesota, followed by post-doctoral research at the University of Pennsylvania in cognitive science.
