Prof. Dr. Daniel Cebo is a skeptical and controversial scientist who thinks deeply about our emerging technological future. He was born in 1978 in Sarajevo and grew up in Belgrade,where he studied molecular biology and physiology at the University of Belgrade. During 2005 he left Serbia to Germany where he obtained PhD at University of Freiburg. Saman Babaie-Kafaki received his B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from University of Mazandaran, Iran, in 2003, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, in 2005 and 2010, respectively. From 2010 to 2015, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Semnan University (Semnan, Iran), where he was subsequently promoted to Associate Professor in 2015 and Full Professor in 2019. From 2011 to 2015, Dr. Babaie-Kafaki also served as a Non–Resident Researcher at IPM (Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences, Tehran, Iran). Since May 2023, he has been working as a researcher at the Free University of Bozen–Bolzano (Bolzano, Italy). Dr. Babaie-Kafaki is a member of the editorial board of several journals, including “Numerical Algorithms”, “Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computing”, and “Iranian Journal of Numerical Analysis and Optimization”. His research interests include numerical continuous optimization, matrix analysis, linear regression, and heuristic algorithms.

Dr. Payam Soltani received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2012, specializing in nonlinear dynamics and nanostructure modelling. With over 20 years of experience in teaching and research, he is a highly accomplished mechanical engineer who has worked at prestigious higher education institutions across the UK, Belgium, and the Middle East. Dr. Soltani is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in the UK and currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in Systems Engineering at the Military Technological College (MTC) in Oman, a position he has held since October 2023. Salim Çalışkan has been working as a test engineer at Turkish Aerospace for more than 8 years, the last one year as chief test engineer. He participated in various kind of structural tests of different components for helicopter and aircraft projects; however, he was mainly involved in helicopter projects like attack and light utility helicopters. Within scope of these tests; static, fatigue and qualification tests of aircraft components were performed. Besides he was also involved in dynamic characterization tests like modal and GVT tests. He graduated as a metallurgical and material engineer and continued his academic studies during his master’s and doctoral period.
